The Pearl

A pearl is produced within the soft tissue of a living shelled mollusk. The finest quality pearls have been highly valued as gemstones and objects of beauty for many centuries, and the word pearl has become a metaphor for something rare, fine, and admirable.

Goodbye Mother!

A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to the checkout line, but she got in front of him.
"Pardon me," she said, "I'm sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son, who just died recently."
"I'm very sorry," replied the young man, "is there anything I can do for you?"
"Yes," she said, "As I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mother!' ?
It would make me feel so much better."
"Sure," answered the young man.
As the old woman was leaving, he called out, "Goodbye, Mother!"
As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total was $127.50.
"How can that be?" he asked, "I only purchased a few things!"
"Your mother said that you would pay for her," said the clerk.

Rose And Nightingale

I walked within a garden fair

Change The World

Can you even imagine what the world would be like if everyone was always truthful, positive and helping others? Would it change the world we live in? You bet it would. It would probably come close to living in heaven on earth.

Environment

When I refer to environment, I’m not just talking about the air you breathe and your physical surroundings. I am more concerned with the people around you. their thoughts and actions, can adversely affect you.

I strongly recommend associating only with positive people, or keep to yourself. The only time you should associate with negative people is when you are trying to help them. Your positive thoughts and actions will have a positive effect on them.

Emotions, positive and negative alike, are nearly as contagious as colds and flu. You can catch feelings of elation, euphoria, sadness and more from friends, family, colleagues, even strangers. Mood "infection" happens in milliseconds, says Elaine Hatfield, a psychology professor at the University of Hawaii .
When interacting with a negative person, take extra steps to remain positive. Otherwise, you may be influenced by his or her negativity.

SUBARU Challenge

These pictures are from The MediaCorp Radio Subaru Challenge 2007, It was just outside TAKASHIMAYA.
The contest started with 388 participants with only the top two driving away with a free car each.

Participants need to keep their hand on the car without removing it any time, and they need hands that stick like glue in order to win this contest and it is much harder than it looks.

Sanobar

Sanobar is a lebanese restaurant, located at one fulerton , I had dinner there yesterday and I liked the food and Enjoyed the belly dance with arabic music. The dancer was from lebanon cos of that the dance was more genuine and better than what I have seen so far.

Mooncake Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival known as the Moon Festival , it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or "Mooncake Festival", which is just the same as "Mid-Autumn Festival" but with different names.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the two most important holidays in the Chinese Calendar and is a legal holiday in several countries. Farmers celebrate the end of the summer harvesting season on this date. Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes together.
Accompanying the celebration, there are additional cultural or regional customs, such as:
Eating moon cakes outside under the moon
Putting pomelo rinds on one's head
Carrying brightly lit lanterns
Burning incense in reverence to deities including Chang'e
Planting Mid-Autumn trees
Lighting lanterns on towers

Evan Almighty

This movie is a sequel to the Jim Carry movie Bruce Almighty. I have the CD for it and when Evan Almighty came in to theater this month I went and watched it. Its a funny movie but I didn't like it as much as i did Bruce...but this is my first movie experience in a normal theater, so far I have been going to the Gold Class movie in Vivocity or Great World City.

Goals

Many individuals do not realize that there are two types of goals. There are outcome goals that give you direction, such as: being happy, having a good education, being married, having children, having a job you love, having money, owning a house, car, and etc. What are even more important are process goals, which include the dedication and hard work required to achieve your outcome goals.

If you perform the process correctly, the outcome takes care of itself. If you want to be on the other side of the street (outcome), do the process of pointing yourself in the right direction and taking one step at a time until you reach the other side of the street.

Living the Daily Affirmation is both an outcome goal and a process. It is a process that will increase your natural abilities and create attractor fields that will help you to achieve all of your outcome goals that are aligned with the big picture.

While you may not be able to control the outcome, you can control your thoughts and actions required to improve the process. Success in doing and mastering the process builds confidence and improves your brain’s chemistry, making it easier to achieve your desired outcome.
